400 University

Campus Commons

400 University Ave.

400 University is a thoughtfully planned residential community coming to Sacramento’s established Campus Commons area. The project transforms an existing commercial site into a collection of 54 contemporary residences, creating new housing within an already connected and desirable part of the city.

The community brings together 27 two-family buildings across approximately 2.65 acres, creating a thoughtfully scaled neighborhood with a more private, residential feel. Private drives, landscaped paseos and carefully considered pedestrian connections organize the neighborhood, while contemporary architecture and mature landscaping help the community feel integrated into its surroundings.

A defining feature of the site are the protected redwood trees along the project frontage. Preserving these established trees allows the new community to remain nestled within the greenery that is a hallmark of the area, creating a natural buffer from the surrounding streets and giving the neighborhood a sense of privacy.

Located at the intersection of University Avenue and Campus Commons Road, 400 University reflects Bardis & Miry Development’s focus on identifying opportunities within established neighborhoods and reimagining underutilized properties as places that contribute lasting value to the surrounding community.
